On Thursday, North Shore Hebrew Academy H.S. students presented a $14,000 check to the Long Island Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Check out the video from Fios1 TV above, or click here: http://fios1news.com/longisland/node/23737.
Last week, the North Shore Hebrew Academy High School students came together in a fierce competition to see which grade could raise the most money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In the course of the week, the students sold "Fight for Life" bracelets and collected over $7,000. The 11th grade was the leader, collecting over $3,000. In this fundraiser, the real winners are going to be those people who may be helped by the money we raised! That's what really counts!
Thanks to Mrs. Gold for the writeup, and of course, to all of our students who helped make this possible.
